Job Description: The Special Programs Volunteers assists the Director of Operations with organizing the special programs that The Dorothy Day Center provides.  Some of these programs include special holiday food baskets, back to school supplies, cooking classes and others.  Future special programs are dependent on the special Special Programs Volunteers.  The Special Program Volunteer may become a chairperson or organizer of the program.  Commitment and a feeling of ownership are a must for this volunteer.
