The Dorothy Day Center serves low-income or no income individuals and families in need of food who do not have transportation to their local food pantry.

Regional food bank truck dates for November and December. Monday, November 11 and Monday, December 9, both between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. We will be receiving a shipment this day from the Regional Food Bank. Volunteers needed. Items will be stocked on shelves and in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Time commitment is about an hour and a half.

Due to other programs scheduled at the Dorothy Day Center, we will not be able to make the two Saturday Catholic Worker deliveries on the third and fourth Saturdays during the month of November. The December delivery date will be Saturday, December 21 at 8:30 am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will sack and deliver groceries to individuals and families who do not have transportation to a food pantry. The time commitment is approximately three hours.

Please note that the Catholic Worker/Dorothy Day Center grocery delivery days in 2024 will be the third and fourth Saturdays of the month at 8;30 a.m. October - May and 8 a.m. June - September.
