Job Description: The Gardener will be responsible for maintaining the St. Charles Community Garden at The Dorothy Day Center. The Gardener will also be responsible for harvesting from our pecan and apple trees. 

The St. Charles Community Garden is an organic, sustainable, urban community garden.  We use only sustainable organic gardening methods that produce a high yield in a small area.  All beds are raised beds, therefore there is very little working of the soil.
