Scheduled Volunteer Opportunities
The next monthly Regional Food Bank truck delivery will be on Monday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m at the
Dorothy Day Center We will be receiving about 15,000 pounds of food from the Regional Food Bank to be stocked on shelves and in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
In October we begin winter hours and meet at 9 a.m. Catholic Worker grocery delivery day, Saturday, October 17, 2015We will serve about 250 households in five low-income apartment complexesfor seniors and/or disabled people. These are folks needing food aid who do not have access and/or transportation to a local food pantry. Time commitment: about 2 to 3 hours.

We will serve about 100 low-income households in the metro area needing food aid that do not have transportation and/or access to a local food pantry. Average: 5-7 deliveries close to each other in defined geographic area with a 2 to 3 hour time commitment.
